Your gift does not travel far.
Money raised in Escondido is granted to Escondido Union School District classrooms. An all volunteer board means no salaries come out of your donation, so more of it reaches a student.

Monthly donors are what let the foundation promise a classroom something in March that was funded in October. Even a small amount, arriving every month, is worth more to the committee than the same total given once, because it can be counted on before the grant cycle opens.

Employer matching
Many Escondido area employers match staff donations dollar for dollar. Ask your HR team for the form, send it to us, and we complete our side. It doubles your gift at no extra cost to you.

- No paid staff Our board and committees are unpaid volunteers, so no salary comes out of your gift.

Donor questions
Do I need a PayPal account?
No. PayPal accepts debit and credit cards without an account. When the payment window opens, choose the card option and enter your details there.
Will I get a receipt?
PayPal emails a receipt the moment your donation goes through, and we follow up with a written acknowledgment for your tax records.
Can I give monthly?
Yes. Choose Give monthly at the top of this page. PayPal handles the monthly billing and emails a receipt each time, and you can change or cancel it yourself from your PayPal account at any time.
Is my donation secure?
Yes. Payment is handled entirely by PayPal on their own secure systems. Your card number never touches this website, and we never see or store it.
Can I say who my gift is for?
Use the honor or memory field above and we will note it. If you want your gift directed to a particular school or program, email us and we will do our best to honor the request.
