Where the money goes

All profits go straight to Escondido classrooms.

This is not a gala with a thin margin. The Fashion Show is run by volunteers, and what is left after costs becomes Innovation Grants for educators across the district.

Those grants pay for the things a public school budget cannot always reach: classroom sets of books, instruments, coding hardware, garden beds, microscopes, and the field experiences students remember years later. An afternoon of sparkling wine and good company turns into a real project in a real classroom a few miles from where you are sitting.

For businesses

Event sponsors reach families, educators, and civic leaders in one room, and help keep event costs low so more of every ticket becomes a grant. Opportunity drawing donations are welcome too.

Before you come

Common questions

How do I get my tickets?

There is nothing to print. After you pay, you get a confirmation on screen and a PayPal receipt by email. Your name goes on the door list, so just give your name when you arrive.

What time should I arrive?

Doors open at 1:15 PM and the show runs 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Coming at 1:15 gives you time to browse the opportunity drawings, get a glass of sparkling wine, and settle in.

Can I buy more than two tickets?

Yes. Pick the single or the pair, then use the quantity control to buy as many as you need. If you are organizing a table, put everyone's names in the guest field and we will seat you together.

Is my ticket tax deductible?

Ticket purchases are generally not fully deductible, because you receive goods and services in return, including refreshments and entertainment. The Escondido Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, so a portion may qualify. Please confirm with your tax advisor. A straight donation is deductible to the extent allowed by law.

What if I cannot make it after all?

Call Carolyn at (858) 231-1442 as early as you can. We will do our best to help, and many guests choose to let the ticket stand as a donation to the classrooms.

Is there parking?

Parking at Trinity Episcopal Church is limited, so carpooling is a good idea. Street parking is available in the surrounding blocks.
