About Caring Hearts
Caring Hearts was born in 2020, the brainchild of Judy Adams, a retired EUSD principal. The Escondido Education Foundation (EEF) annually honors individuals and organizations who directly and significantly support and enrich the lives of students in the Escondido Union School District.
Each year, nominations are sent to Office Managers on October 1st. Anyone can nominate and anyone can be nominated. For example, a nominee might be a teacher, a staff member, PTA participant, custodian, or an organization that directly supports and enriches the lives of our students. It's the personal touch that makes Caring Hearts happen.
Each year, recipients are recognized at our annual Fall in Love with Escondido Schools fundraiser event in February.
