Escondido Education Foundation Spends MONEY!!

The Escondido Education Foundation is a community driven fundraising organization which provides funding for essential resources, and programs that empower teachers, inspire learning, and promote innovation and academic excellence in EUSD.

Farr Elementary
Farr Elementary received a $1416.00 grant for Speed Cup Stackers which will develop students’ eye-hand coordination. Principal: Soo Yeohn de Santiago Educator: Amber Terry Funded by the Judith Campbell Educational and Community Foundation


Del Dios Academy of Arts & Science
Del Dios Academy of Arts & Science received a $3000 grant to build “A Place of Positivity”, a mural which will involve students and teachers. Principal: Lisa Pitard Educators: Joseph Hinrichs, Gabriel Schraer, Anna Ranck-Buhr


North Broadway Elementary
North Broadway Elementary received a grant for $1800 for “A Gathering Place to Build Community”. Principal: Cherry Moore Educators: Susie Urrutia


North Broadway Elementary
North Broadway Elementary received a $5000 grant for their library, “Help Us Make Our Library a Community Collaborative Space”. Principal: Cherry Moore Librarian: Heather Wulf Funded by the Judith Campbell Educational & Community Foundation


Glen View Elementary
Glen View Elementary received a $632 grant for “ASB Connects You to School” to build a stronger school community. Principal: Julio Lopez Educator: Cheryl Criscenti


Oak Hill Elementary
Oak Hill Elementary received $2552 to replenish and improve their “It’s Time for the News” program for 5th graders. Principal: Rick Ausby Educators: Terri Price Mary Russo Funded by the Judith Campbell Educational and Community Foundation


Rose Elementary
Rose Elementary received $534.00 a grant called “Fantastic Phonics”. It involves a program to remember sounds as well as microphones which can be tossed from student to student to aid in hearing student responses better. Principal: Laura Ruggles Educator: Stephanie Schiman Funded by the Judith Campbell Educational and Community Foundation


Reidy Creek Elementary
Reidy Creek Elem. received a $476.00 grant for a STEM project for a 1st grade class. In addition to learning science, students will learn to work as a team. Principal: Alfred Rocha Educator: Kerry Morey Funded by the Judith Campbell Educational and Community Foundation


Lincoln Elementary
Lincoln Elementary received a $500.00 grant for Sensory Tools for Emotional Regulation…..items to allow students to be more comfortable at school. Principal: Jason Hoff Educator: Sandra Gonzalez

The Escondido Education Foundation still has about $22,000.00 to spend. We hope to make a decision on how that should be spent in January. We'll keep you posted! Thank you all for your donations. Educators and students in the EUSD depend on YOU!!
