Escondido Education Foundation Grant 2021

This grant is after school cross-age tutoring.  Teachers are willing to stay after school to plan and monitor this activity.  During our visit, older students were working with younger children on their math.  Activities are planned in advance and "run" by teachers and district personnel.  At the end of the hour, many students comment, "Do we have to leave?"  This project was to be implemented at 3 of the district schools.  Because of Covid, only 2 schools were up and running.  The EEF hopes that when school gets back to a "normal" schedule, all 3 schools will be able to implement the program.
