The EEF partially funded the reading program in Mrs. Manessis’ classroom at Miller Elementary. The first graders in her classroom get to go shopping once a week to pick 10 books they would like to read for the week. They may take them home but as Board members observed, these little kiddos were very engrossed in their books during the reading time!
