Students who are in our country for the first time gather after school for “immersion” activities. These students have played volleyball, soccer, visited the fire station, cooked, celebrated Valentine’s Day, and each student made a hard-back book chronicling their activities.
These pictures are from their “end of project” party. Teachers, parents, community members and other students attended. Proud bookmakers read their books to all who attended. And, students asked visitors to sign their books. These students learned about photography, writing, and all the in’s-and-outs of making a book that they will keep forever!
