The Escondido Education Foundation was honored yesterday by the Escondido Union School District. The district held its first ever State of the District Address, featuring school superintendent Dr. Luis Ibarra. Dr. Ibarra invited the EEF Board members who were in attendance to the stage and presented the Public Champion Award plaque, in recognition of the efforts to bring innovative teaching opportunities to the hard-working teachers in the district.
